NOVONIX’s Ultra-High Precision Cycler systems provide industry-leading low noise and high accuracy source and measurement electronics catered to making precision measurements, including Coulombic Efficiency (CE).
It is critical when evaluating lithium-ion cells to have high precision (low noise) and high accuracy to ensure measurements are reliable and repeatable. Novonix’s Ultra-High Precision cycler systems allow for comparison measurements of cell performance in only a few weeks instead of months or years of long-term cycling. When used with a properly controlled temperature, these systems are capable of measuring Coulombic Efficiency with a precision of 20 ppm and accuracy of 50 ppm.

Accurate and stable temperature control of cells is critical for reducing noise in measured cell data, including coulombic efficiency. NOVONIX’s thermal chambers provide accurate and stable temperature control and interface seamlessly with cycler systems. Our thermal chambers can operate from -20°C to +60°C and can accommodate a range of cell sizes.
NOVONIX provides fully integrated systems, including cell connectors. NOVONIX’s cell connectors include 4-wire connections and on-board RTD temperature sensors. NOVONIX manufactures cell connectors configured for pouch cells, coin cells, and cylindrical cells.
