At NOVONIX, we’re building the future of battery materials right here in North America. Headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, we are the most advanced producer of synthetic graphite in the region and one of the only companies commercializing a domestic, battery-grade alternative to foreign-sourced natural graphite.
Our Riverside facility is set to become the first large-scale synthetic graphite production site in North America, with 20,000 tpa capacity fully allocated under long-term agreements with Panasonic Energy and PowerCo. We use petroleum coke, a byproduct of U.S. oil refining, as feedstock ensuring a stable, domestic raw material supply chain and reducing waste.
NOVONIX’s proprietary furnace technology delivers unmatched performance and efficiency compared to traditional graphitization methods used in China. And because our process requires no mining, we offer a cleaner, more secure alternative to graphite.
